Challenge RC was founded in 2024 by Ryan Randolph. Inspired by the small business comeback in Terre Haute, he saw an opportunity to create an indoor track. He worked hard to ramp up the business in just six months. His goal for Challenge RC is to create a fun environment for RC culture in the heart of town and make Terre Haute a destination for indoor racing in Indiana year-round.
Ryan started racing at age 14 with a custom painted RC10T. He assembled it from a kit and spent many hours at pit tables repairing his well-tested first model.
Getting back into RC as an adult, Ryan realized how many miles away the nearest indoor track was from home. Driving to get to the track took more time than the races themselves. He wanted a carpet track close to home where RC enthusiasts of all ages could come out for a few hours. By securing a lease in the Haute City Center, Challenge RC allows racers to bring their families to a central location and enjoy shopping, food, and other entertainment outlets between heats.
Challenge RC is scheduled to open October 2024, hosting standard and special event races, including trailer races. Limited retail will include various RC models, parts, tools, and custom merchandise. Follow Challenge RC on social media for the latest updates and upcoming events!
